半透膜(英語：semipermeable membrane)是一種只給某種分子或離子擴散進出的薄膜，對不同粒子的通過具有選擇性的薄膜。例如細胞膜、膀胱膜、羊皮紙以及人工制的膠棉薄膜等。現代半透膜還用于多孔性壁（如無釉陶瓷）并使適當的化合物（如鐵氰化銅）沉淀于其孔隙中制成。半透膜用于滲透溶膠和測定滲透壓強等。生物吸取養分也是通過半透膜進行的。是用高分子材料經過特殊工藝制成的半透膜，它只允許水分子透過，而不允許溶質通過。用高壓泵使處于半透膜一側的原水壓力超過滲透壓時，原水中的水分子就能夠透過半透膜進入另一側，從而獲得純凈水。而原水中的溶解與非溶解的無機鹽，重金屬離子，有機物，菌體，膠體等物質無法通過半透膜，只能留在濃縮水中被放掉。 反滲透設備廣泛應用于醫藥行業、飲料行業、電子、電力行業等。
